Answer:

Satrted                     36000

Explanation:

opening units     =   9300

Satrted                     36000

                                45300

Transferred              38000

Closing                     7300

Here is the quation

Opning units+Started-Transferred =  Closing units

Now put the values in equation

9300+Started-38000=7300

Started+28700=7300

Transfer the -28700 to left of the equation and change the sign in + due to transfer

Started =7300+28700

Started =36000

jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

Operating cash flow is  $7,980

Explanation:

EBIT = sales of $19,730 - costs of $9,300 - depreciation expense of $1,970 = $8,460

Tax = (EBIT of $8,460 - interest expense of $1,460) * Tax rate 35%

= $2,450

The operating cash flow (OCF) = EBIT + Depreciation - Tax = $8,460 + $1,970 - $2,450 = $7,980

The management of Kabanuck Corporation is considering dropping product V41B. Data from the company's accounting system appear be
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

$191,500

Explanation:

If the item is not dropped:

Loss = Sales - Variable expenses - Fixed manufacturing expenses - Fixed selling and administrative expenses

       = $923,000 - $405,500 - $337,000 - $244,000

       = (63,500) loss

Fixed mfg. expenses remaining:

= Fixed manufacturing expenses - Avoidable Fixed manufacturing expenses

= $337,000 - $207,500

= $129,500

Fixed selling and administrative expenses remaining:

= Fixed selling and administrative expenses - Avoidable Fixed selling and administrative expenses

= $244,000 - $118,500

= $125,500

Loss in expenses remaining if item is dropped :

= Fixed mfg. expenses remaining + Fixed selling and administrative expenses remaining

= $129,500 + $125,500

= ($255,000)

Overall net operating income would decrease by:

= Loss in expenses remaining if item is dropped - Loss in expenses if item is not dropped

= $255,000 - $63,500

= $191,500
