The Investment Model is a nonpathologizing theory that views commitment as a function of one's satisfaction with, alternatives to, and investments in the relationship. These factors were examined in a shelter-based sample of battered women. Investment model variables, particularly satisfaction, were also examined as mediators of the relationship between abuse exposure and commitment. Both Investment Model and abuse exposure constructs were assessed using instruments more fully developed than in previous research. Results indicated that each of the Investment Model factors contributed uniquely to women's commitment, and that relationship satisfaction mediated the relationship between psychological (but not physical) abuse and commitment. Implications for future research and intervention are discussed.

Where did the American Revolution begin and how?
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

The American Revolution began in April 1775 through an exchange in gunfire in Lexington and Concord Massachusetts between the Red Coats (British soldiers) and minutemen (colonist militia).

It was because of Parliament (England's Congress) was placing taxes on the colonist (Sugar Act 1764, Stamp Act, and Tea) plus the debt for the French and Indian War

Ivenika [448]
In this situation, Gerry is engaging in Symbolic play. Symbolic play is the ability of a child to use objects to represent another object (i.e. Gerry using his cane as a fire hose). Symbolic play is not limited to just objects representing other objects. A child can also use actions and ideas to represent other action or idea.

At around pre-school age, (3-5)  children become more creative and imaginative and are able to associate roles with certain actions like how Gerry says he is a fireman as he does the gesture of putting out fire.

Behavior changes from one situation to the next. Press Space to open Personality consistency can only be assessed via self-repor
steposvetlana [31]

From one situation to the next, behavior varies. The ability to forecast a single action in a single circumstance with any great fidelity is not supported by behavioral consistency.

What does consistent Behavior mean?

A consistent person always acts in the same manner, has the same attitudes toward other people or things, or succeeds to the same degree in whatever they are doing.

Why is consistency important in behavior management?

If you are consistent, your pupils will quickly learn that they can rely on you to uphold the standards and to carry out your commitments. Their regard for you will grow as a result, which will help reduce the likelihood of behavioral issues emerging.

What is consistency in behavior management essay?

One of the trickiest aspects of behavior modification is consistency. It ought to be easy, in principle. The expectations for behavior are very clear. Everyone abides by the regulations, and every member of staff always follows them exactly. The same behaviors are expected of students wherever they are in school.

According to James Marcia, what determines an individual' s identity status? The choices and alternatives they have access to. T
devlian [24]

Answer:

The existence or extent of their crisis or commitment.

Explanation:

James Marcia is a clinical and developmental psychologist who used the term "identity status" in order to describe four developmental identity stations. These are identity diffusion, identity foreclosure, moratorium and identity achievement. According to Marcia, an individual's identity status is determined by the existence or extent of their crisis or commitment. This is particularly relevant when it comes to the study of youth and their development of identity.
