The answers are as shown below in the next few answers:
Answer #1:
You must solve for W

Rearrange the problem and it looks like this:
W = 2(53+3H)
Then substitute 6 for H:
W = 2(53 + 18) $$$$$$ W = 142
The answer, therefore, is 142.

For Erin, the graph shows 10 pounds of sugar are used for every 30 cups of tea.

For Lucia, we can let x=3 and we find 3 pounds of sugar are used for 10·3 = 30 cups of tea.

For the same number of cups of tea (30), Erin uses 10 pounds of sugar and Lucia uses 3 pounds of sugar.

Erin uses sugar at a higher rate.

The solution to the inequality 3x-3\leq -15\,\,or\,\,4x-1\geq 11 is x\leq -3\,\,or\,\,x\geq 4

The number line is shown in figure attached.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to solve the inequality: 3x-3\leq -15\,\,or\,\,4x-1\geq 11

Solving the inequality:

3x-3\leq -15\,\,or\,\,4x-1\geq 11\\Adding\,\,3\,\,on\,\,both\,\,sides\,\,and\,\,1\,\,on\,\,both\,\,sides\\3x-3+3\leq -15+3\,\,or\,\,4x-1+1\geq 11+1\\3x\leq -12\,\,or\,\,4x\geq 12

Divide by 3 and divide by 12

x\leq \frac{-12}{3} \,\,or\,\,x\geq \frac{12}{4} \\x\leq -4\,\,or\,\,x\geq 3

So, value of x can be less than equal to -4 or value of x is greater than equal to 3.

The number line is shown in figure attached.

The solution to the inequality 3x-3\leq -15\,\,or\,\,4x-1\geq 11 is x\leq -3\,\,or\,\,x\geq 4

one number is 1 less than a second number. twice the second number is 26 more than 4 times the first number. find the two number
BARSIC [14]
Let x= second number
x-1= first number
2x= 4(x-1) + 26
2x= 4x -4 + 26
2x -4x= 22
-2x= 22
(-1)(-2x)=22(-1)
2x= -22
x=-11 (second number)
-11-1= -12 (first number)

If the green suitcase is 36 pounds and the other suitcase is 10 pounds lighter than 3/4 just find what 3/4 is and subtract 10. Then you have the weight of the Blue suitcase. So the suitcase is 17 pounds. B=3/4G -10 but G =36 so B= 3/4 •36 -10 for the total just add. One is 36. One is 17. 53 pounds for both
