How long do chicken tenders take to digest?
zlopas [31]
It takes 4 to 6 hours on average for food to leave the stomach after a meal; longer if there was a lot of fat, less time if the meal was mostly liquid. Total digestion time from stomach to elimination is about 53 hours on average.

If you want to eat 250 gm of chicken every day, that's fine. Be sure to add sufficient vegetables and fruits to have a balanced diet.

Explain how a testcross can provide evidence for or against linkage.
MrRa [10]

Answer:

Testcrosses clarify linkage because each phenotypic class of progeny corresponds to each gamete type produced by the dihybrid parent.

Explanation:

 • A test cross involves the crossing of an individual with another phenotypically recessive individual so as to determine the zygosity of the former by analyses of the proportions of offspring phenotypes.
 • In order to determine linkage, the test cross shows that if the parentals are more than the recombinants, we can say that the two genes such as b and c are genetically linked and therefore, they must be on the same chromosome.
 • Also, the test-crosses help to find out which alleles came from which parent.
 • By setting up testcrosses in which one parent is homozygous for the recessive alleles of both genes,we can analyze the gene combinations received in the gametes from the other, doubly heterozygous parent.

Explain why protecting surviving rainforests from deforestation is important to fighting cancer
professor190 [17]

The link between oxygen and cancer is clear. In fact, an underlying cause of cancer is usually low cellular oxygenation levels.

In newly formed cells, low levels of oxygen damage respiration enzymes so that the cells cannot produce energy using oxygen. These cells can then turn cancerous because they don't make enough energy to function normally in the body.

by protecting surviving rainforests means more oxygen available
