3

When rounding off to the nearest whole number all you do is look at the first decimal and see if it is bigger than 5 which in this case it isn't so, the 3 stays the same and that would be your answer. If it was bigger than 5 then your whole number changes to 4.

Please come answer this, I need help asap
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

26

Step-by-step explanation:

To evaluate this expression, all we have to do is substitute the given values of the variables into the expression. That is, replace every m in the expression with a 1 and every p in the expression with a 5.

Doing so, we get:

p^{2} +m

=5^{2} +1 (Substitute given values into the expression)

=25+1 (Evaluate exponential term)

=\bf26 (Add)

Hope this helps!

A sanitation supervisor is interested in testing to see if the mean amount of garbage per bin is different from 50. In a random
frez [133]

Answer: H_0 : \mu=50\\\\ H_1 : \mu\neq50

Step-by-step explanation:

An null hypothesis (H_0) is a statement of equality which shows that there is no statistical difference between the groups being tested.

An alternative hypothesis  (H_1) is a statement of inequality which shows that there is statistical difference between the groups being tested.

Let \mu be the population mean amount of garbage per bin .

Given : A sanitation supervisor is interested in testing to see if the mean amount of garbage per bin is different from 50.

i.e. \mu\neq 50 → Alternative

Thus , the appropriate null and alternative hypotheses :

H_0 : \mu=50\\\\ H_1 : \mu\neq50
