I have not done this mathematically but I think it would be a parallelogram. I just visualised the points and it looks like a parallelogram on a slant. Let me know if you need a more mathematical answer :)

A cone and a cylinder have the same base and height, as shown below. A cone is inside of a cylinder with same base and height. T
lord [1]

Answer:

The volume of the cone = 28 inch³

Step-by-step explanation:

First let's consider the formula for the volume of the shapes

For cylinder

Volume= πr²h

For cone

Volume= 1/3 πr²h

So we'd notice that no much difference except that the volume if a cylinder is divided by two to get that off a cone.

So if the volume of the cylinder is

84π inch

The volume of the cone is 84/3 = 28

The volume of the cone = 28 inch³

Order the numbers from least to greatest -3 , -8, |-6|, 2
Korvikt [17]

Answer: -8, -3, 2, |-6|

Step-by-step explanation:

-3 , -8, |-6|, 2

|-6|=6

6>2

-3>-8 since a negative number closer to 0 is the greater number.

Order: -8, -3, 2, 6 ==> -8, -3, 2, |-6|

Translate into an algebraic expression: n−1 increased by 110%
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer:

Part 1) The algebraic expression is equal to 1.10(n-1)  or 1.10n-1.10

Part 2) The algebraic expression is equal to \frac{1.10}{n}

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1) we have (n-1) increased by 110%

110%=110/100=1.10

so

The algebraic expression of (n-1) increased by 110% is equal to multiply 1.10 by (n-1)

1.10(n-1)

Distributed

1.10n-1.10

Part 2) we have n^(-1) increased by 110%

110%=110/100=1.10

so

The algebraic expression of n^(-1) increased by 110% is equal to multiply 1.10 by n^(-1)

Remember that

n^{-1}=\frac{1}{n}

so

1.10(n^{-1})=1.10\frac{1}{n}=\frac{1.10}{n}
