Answer:

This a source which energy can be extracted, used and still be transformed maybe directly or into another energy form.

Explanation:

Different energy sources can be renewable and non renewable. Fossils such as coal and crude oil are the most common sources of energy in industries and homes. Here, we can cut down fuel requirements using burners, furnaces and engines that burn the fuel more efficiently.

Alternative sources of energy include hydroelectric power, nuclear energy, wind generators and solar panels. Wood, alcohol, could also be used as alternative sources of energy. Ad these are products of photosynthesis, they are renewable.

Answer:

A source from which energy is obtained and used for different purposes. Some energy is obtained directly from the source and some energy are converted and than used.

Explanation: There are various sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, thermal energy and tidal energy etc.

The energy which is obtained from the sun by using collecting devices such as solar panels is called solar energy.

The energy which is obtained from wind is called wind energy.

The energy which is extracted from heat and tides are thermal and tidal energy, respectively.

The technique psychologists use to measure electrical activity in the brain is 1. EEG 2. Lesion 3. FMri 4. CAT Scan 5. PET Scan
posledela

Answer:

The correct answer is 1. EEG.

EEG or electroencephalography is a technique used to measure the electrical activity of the brain.

8 to 16 pairs of electrodes are placed on the scalp which record the electrical activity or impulses (in volts) generated by thousands of neurons or nerve cells present in the brain.

It provides the real-time imaging of the electrical activity of the brain.

The recorded impulses are first sent to the amplifier as the magnitude of the brain's electrical impulses is very low.

The amplifier then amplifies the results and show it on the screen in the form of voltage units.

A group of environmentalists were discussing the benefits and drawbacks associated with using fossil fuels. Which argument best
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Fossil fuels are cheaper than alternative forms of energy

Explanation:

Fossil fuels are made from organic matter of dead animals and mainly plants  who were buried in the soil over hundred and thousand of years. We use fossil fuels because they are the best source to provide energy in the current time.

Fossil fuels are easily available and are present in very large amount which is the main reason for it to be cheaper. Fossil fuels like coal, petroleum or natural gas are more cheaper and efficient than alternative forms of energy like solar or wind energy.

But in future these fossil fuel will not be there and alternative forms of energy will become the primary and cheaper source of fuel.
