The lowest number of strands usually seen is 7 ... one in the middle
and 6 surrounding it.

The next level up is 19, which is another layer of 12 strands on top
of the 7.

After that the number varies, but 37 and 49 are common, then in
the 70 to 100 range (the number is no longer exact). Even larger
numbers than that are typically found in very large cables.

klasskru [66]

Given, Customers pay $4 to enter the pumpkin patch.

And also given, customers pay $3 per pound for the pumpkins.

Given, $y be the total cost and there are x pounds of pumpkins.

The cost for pumpkin per pound = $3.

Therefore, the cost for x pound pumpkins = $(3x)

As the total cost includes the payment for entering the patch also,

So the total cost y = 3x + 4

We have got the required equation.

The equation to model the total cost is y = 3x+4.

Each of three coins has two sides, heads and tails. Represent the heads or tails status of each coin by a logical variable (A fo
jeka94

Answer:

(a) F(A, B, C) = AB'C' + A'BC' + A'B'C

(b) F(A, B, C) = (A' + B' + C')(A' + B + C)(A + B' + C)(A + B + C')(A + B + C)

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) If F(A, B, C) = 1 iff exactly one of the coins is heads, then either

A is heads and the others are tails (AB'C')

B is heads and the others are tails (A'BC')

C is heads and the others are tails (A'B'C)

Hence, as a minterm expansion,

F(A, B, C) = AB'C' + A'BC' + A'B'C

(b) To get the corresponding maxterm expansion, we convert to binary.

F(A, B, C) = \sum (100, 010, 001) = \sum(4,2,1)

The maxterm is the product of the complements.

F(A, B, C) = \prod (0, 3, 5, 6, 7) = \prod(000, 011, 101, 110, 111)

Expanding,

F(A, B, C) = (A' + B' + C')(A' + B + C)(A + B' + C)(A + B + C')(A + B + C)

The soccer field is 105 meters long. The football field is 120 yards long. Which is longer?
ASHA 777 [7]

The football field is longer than soccer field.

What is a expression? What is a mathematical equation? What is unit conversion?

A mathematical expression is made up of terms (constants and variables) separated by mathematical operators. A mathematical equation is used to equate two expressions. Equation modelling is the process of writing a mathematical verbal expression in the form of a mathematical expression for correct analysis, observations and results of the given problem. Conversion of units is the conversion between different units of measurement for the same quantity, typically through multiplicative conversion factors.

We have a soccer field that is 105 meters long and a football field is 120 yards long.

In one yard, we have -

1 yard = 0.9144 meters

Then, in 120 yards, we will have -

120 x 0.9144 = 109.728 meters

Now, 109.728 meters > 105 meters.

Therefore, the football field is longer than soccer field.
