A specialized dictionary is a dictionary that covers particular topics in detail outlining and defining important terminology and information in a particular area. A specialized dictionary might exist in the sciences, math, engineering or other academic field to provide specific information in regards to terminology in that field.
To engage the reader, the author asks a thought-provoking question.
The author asks “...how and when did baseball become recognized as the national sport of the United States?”’to introduce the reader to the topic of the text and cause them to begin considering it.
When someone miss judges you it means that they don't get you or they don't get what you did and mistook you for something else. so if let's say they thought you were horrible and they started being nasty to you but in the end they found out that you were really nice. that's called missjudged.
