Which of the following disclosures would not be allowed under the HIPAA Privacy Rule? Assume that the patients have not authoriz
ed release of their PHI. A. A drug rehab center releases details of a celebrity's struggle with addiction as part of a public service advertisement against drugs. B. A hospital releases details of an Ebola patient's illness and treatment to the CDC. C. An employer releases details of an employee's disabling accident to OSHA. D. Doctors in California release details of patient diagnoses of food poisoning linked to tainted orange juice to the FDA.
The correct answer to your question is A, this is because all the other options had information released to goverment based programs. these programs are based to help others, so it is not against HIPAA to share information with them. it is against the rules though for a doctor to release information about a celebrity client,, even if it is to use as a PSA. let me know if you have any further questions :)
I would advise her not to lose any weight at all as according to the skin fold test which measures her body mass index she has 22 percent body fat which is in the normal/healthy weight range. Any BMI between 18.5 to 24.9 is considered healthy. If she really wanted to she could lose the 7 pounds as long as she stays within the healthy BMI levels and doesn't drop any lower than 18.5 but she really doesn't need to.
