One should call poison control when they suspect that someone has:

1. Taken lot of medication.

5. Ingested any cleaning products like pesticide and antifreeze.

6. Ingested any products like cosmetics like hair gel or perfume.

There are certain tips to prevent the accidental contact with poisonous materials:

Store the medicines, laundry products and cleaning products, pesticides etc. in the nice packing material in some container.

1. Always keep the medicine caps tightened.

2. Discard the unused medical substance immediately.

3. Give proper dosage of, medicine to the patient. Do not give overdose of medicine to them.

4. Do not keep the poisonous material near or into the food products.
