The solution is where the graphs of the lines intersect. It is at point (-1, -5).

C.
y = -5
y = 3x - 2
-5 = 3x - 2
3x = -3
x = -1
The solution is (-1, -5) which is the same as with the graph.

Answer 2

A) you would first make the graph, and then you would put a dot on -5 on the y axis and draw the line horizontal.
and then for the y=3x-2 you would put a dot on -2 on the y axis, and the use 3/1 as your slope, which means rise 3 and then go left 1
