Answer:

True

Explanation:

In Southeast Asia, the U.S. government used the now-discredited domino to prevent a communist victory in Vietnam.

On October 1, 1949, Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong declared the creation of the People’s Republic of China. The announcement ended the costly full-scale civil war between the Chinese Communist Party and the Nationalist Party, or Kuomintang, which broke out immediately following World War II and had been preceded by on and off conflict between the two sides since the 1920’s. The “fall” of mainland China to communism in 1949 led the United States to suspend diplomatic ties with the PRC for decades.

What is something good that came out of the Vietnam war.<br> 1 good sentence plz
yuradex [85]
I'd think the main benefit was independence from Western powers in the French and the Americans. Pretty big deal, even with one million killed from fighting. Maybe one could argue that the war also resulted in stronger government that was able to resist Chinese pressure, which allowed Vietnam to defeat China when they fought in 1979. Vietnam resisted the Japanese, the French and the Americans so it is a stretch to suggest they needed a war to defeat the Chinese as well, but the war did leave Vietnam unified.

How did modern conservatives propose to improve the economy
Serhud [2]

Answer:

The answer is stated below.

Explanation:

Much of the debate about the ideology of conservatives in recent times has been being played out between modernizing and traditionalist perspectives. The conservatives concentrated unceasingly on economic stability, the reduction of immigration, and build world-class public services. Modernization has shown in various ways the need for the Conservative Party to establish confidence in the management of public services, to assist citizens with modest incomes, to foster economic competence, to build new links with working-class voters, etc.
