In order to determine the correct answer, it would be helpful to set up equations. We do as follows:

Let x = students
      y = adults

x + y = 215
.50x + 2y = 250

SOlving simultaneously, we have:

x = 120 students
y = 95 adults

Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

5\cdot(\frac{1}{5^3})\ne5\cdot(5^3)

His answer is not correct, when we have a power on the denominator it is dividing and not multiplying, in this case while the expression on the left is being divided the other one is multiplying.

also you could rewrite the expressions like so remembering that powers that are on the denominator can be written as negative powers.

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot(\frac{1}{5^3})\ne5\cdot(5^3) \\ 5\cdot5^{-3}\ne5^4 \\ 5^{-2}\ne5^4 \end{gathered}

The attendence at a water park varies directly as the temperature and invesely as the number of days of rain during the month. I
Margarita [4]
Let A be attendance, t the temperature and n the number of days. Then,
A\alpha\frac{t}{n}
A=k\frac{t}{n}
Where k is a constant of proportionality;
If A=3200, T=88 and n=8, then k,
3200=\frac{88k}{8}
3200=11k
k=\frac{3200}{11}
Rewriting the equation and replacing the value of k,
A=\frac{3200t}{11n}
When t=92 and n=12
The A= \frac{3200*92}{11*12}
A=\frac{294400}{132}
A= 2231

HELP WITH THIS PLEASE
Flauer [41]

Step-by-step explanation:

1a.

(2 {p}^{2} )^{3}  =  {2}^{3} {p}^{6}  = 2p \times 2p\times 2p\times p\times p\times p

(2p^2)^3 without exponents will represent 2p being multiplied by 2p 2 times and by p 3 times.

<u>1b. Solve:</u>

<u>Include exponent outside parenthese:</u>

<u>{2}^{3} {p}^{2 \times 3}</u>

8 {p}^{6}

8p^6 is your answer for part B.
