So you subsitute 275 for n in the equation

becaue the question says 'let n represent the number of text messages'
so .15(n-250)+5=.15(275-250)+5
so we do the stuff in the parenthasees () first so .15(25)+5

multiply by .15 or 15/100 so
and you get 3.75
3.75+5
you add 5 and get 8.75

Christian randomly selects students from his grade to rate a math test as easy, moderate, or difficult. Of the students he surve
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

84

Step-by-step explanation:

Total students he surveyed: 27

Amount that found it something OTHER than easy: 14 (11 moderate + 3 difficult)

This means that \frac{14}{27} found it something other than easy

Multiply that by 162 to find the proportion for the larger population:

162 * (14/27), and we get 84.

Consider f(x) = 1.8x – 10 and g(x) = −4.
erastova [34]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The input value at which f(x) = g(x) can be found by setting the right sides of each of those equal to each other and solving for x.

1.8x - 10 = -4 and

1.8x = 6 so

x = 3 1/3

The bold equation is the answer to the first part, and the second part is that x = 3 1/3
