In ancient times, humans did not become settled and used their talents to put the lands to good use, but rather lived as migrants, nomads, throughout all lands, hunting and gathering, until they found two things; agriculture and domestication of animals. The second one was vital for the development of human settlements and technological advances, as animals were tamed to become useful with the tasks of the earth, and thus, agriculture became possible. The creation of tools, and the use of animals as means of settlement and growth, ensured that people were able to use the available land, and the resources it offered, without having to move constantly from one place to another.
