There are infinite answers because it’s the same line. If u add x on both sides then divide by 2 u will get y=(1/2)x+3. (As for graphing in standard form just put in any value for x and solve for y and that’s one coordinate and do it again for another them draw a line connecting them.) attached I have what the graph should look. (The website I used was Desmos.com in case u ever want to use it)

In the triangle shown, AB = 2x + 9 and BC = 5x – 12. Find the value of x.
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

x=7

Step-by-step explanation:

AB=BC[ because two sides of isosceles triangles are equal ]

or, 2x+9=5x-12

or,9+12=5x-2x

or,21=3x

or,x= 21/3

therefore, x=3

A painting measures b meters by 4 meters. a frame shop charges $10 per meter for a wooden frame. how much would it cost to buy a
hammer [34]

$ (20b + 80) is the cost to buy a frame for the panting given that measures b meters by 4 meters and charges $10 per meter for a wooden frame. This can be obtained by finding the perimeter of the painting and multiplying with the cost of wood per meter.

What is the cost of buying a frame for the painting?

Given that,

length of the painting (l) = b meters

width of the painting (b) = 4 meters

Perimeter of the painting = 2(l+b)

                                          = 2(b+4)

                                          = 2b + 8

Cost of the frame = (2b + 8)× $10 per meter

                             = $ (20b + 80)

Hence $ (20b + 80) is the cost to buy a frame for the panting given that measures b meters by 4 meters and charges $10 per meter for a wooden frame.
