Q1) the equation is r = √(km/F)
the subject of the equation needs to be 'F' as itneeds to be calculated,
since the original equation has 'F' in its square root form
Both sides should be squared,
r² = km/F
The subject of the equation should be brought to the left side
we can do cross multiplication
F = km/r²
correct answer is A

Q2)
Carla is a client at the firm. the firm charges $46 from Carla. For each share, an amount of $0.15 is traded.
There's a fixed cost of 46 and 0.15 per share.
Lets call the number of shares as x
Therefore Carla's cost is
Cost = 46 + 0.15x
the bill given to Carla is 109.30
Therefore
109.30 = 46 + 0.15x
0.15x = 109.30 - 46
0.15x = 63.3
x = 63.3/0.15
x = 422
number of shares is 422

Q3)
The overhead costs for a day is $3300. For each item it produces, there's a cost of $42 for each item produced.
Therefore 3300 is a fixed cost and 42 is a variable cost that increases with the number of items produced.
The number of items produced per day is x.
then the cost for producing x number of items is 42x
The total expenses (E) for the day is
E= 3300 + 42x
Answer is C

Q4)
Density = mass / volume
the mass of sun is given as 2.0 x 10³⁰ kg
to find the volume of sun, shape of a sphere the following equation is used.
V = 4/3 πr³
the radius of sun is 7 x 10⁸ m
Therefore,
V = 4/3 x 3.14 x (7.0 x 10⁸)³
    = (4 x 3.14 x 343 x 10²⁴)/3
    = 1.436 x 10²⁷ m³
Then density = 2.0 x 10³⁰ kg / 1.436 x 10²⁷ m³
                      = 1393 kgm⁻³

Which of the following are solutions to the equation sinxcosx = - 1/4
Dafna1 [17]

The equation is given below as

\sin x\cos x=-\frac{1}{4}

Recall that

\begin{gathered} \sin 2x=2\sin xcosx \\ \text{which means that } \\ \frac{\sin2x}{2}=\sin x\cos x \end{gathered}

Therefore, equating the two-equation, we will have

\frac{\sin 2x}{2}=-\frac{1}{4}

cross multiply, we will have

\begin{gathered} \sin 2x=-\frac{1}{4}\times2 \\ \sin 2x=-\frac{1}{2} \end{gathered}

Therefore,

we will get the arc sign of both sides in radians to get

\begin{gathered} 2x=\sin ^{-1}(-\frac{1}{2}) \\ x=\frac{1}{2}\sin ^{-1}(-\frac{1}{2}) \end{gathered}

In radians, the final answer will be

\begin{gathered} x=\frac{7\pi}{12}+n\pi \\ \text{and} \\ x=\frac{11\pi}{12}+n\pi \end{gathered}

Therefore,

The finals answers are OPTION A and OPTION D

You are thinking of employing a t procedure to test hypotheses about the mean of a population using a significance level of 0.05
Murljashka [212]

Answer: B. You may use the t procedure, provided your sample size is large, say, at least 30.

Step-by-step explanation: To use a T test hypothesis, the following steps is considered;

1. Add the test hypothesis when using a T test module in the experiment

2. Add the date set that contains the columns that is to be analyzed

3. Decide which kind of T test is appropriated for the data

4. If single sample is been used, the adequate parameters should be used.

The correct statement in this case is "You may use the t procedure, provided your sample size is large, say, at least 30."

What is EBC? ASAP please
Brums [2.3K]

We know that if m\angle ABD=2(m\angle DBC), then m\angle ABD=\frac{2n}{3} and m\angle DBC=\frac{n}{3}.

Since BE bisects \angle DBC, we know that \angle DBE \cong \angle EBC, and thus \angle EBC=\boxed{\frac{n}{6}}

4+2p=10(3/5p-2) solve for P Give an exact answer
Contact [7]

Simplify 3/5p tp 3p/5

4 + 2p = 10(3p/5 - 2)

Expand

4 + 2p = 6p - 20

Subtract 2p from both sides

4 = 6p - 20 - 2p

Simplify 6p - 20 - 2p to 4p - 20

4 = 4p - 20

Add 20 to both sides

4 + 20 = 4p

Simplify 4 + 20 tp 24

24 = 4p

Divide both sides by 4

24/4 = p

Simplify 24/4 to 6

6 = p

Switch sides

<u>p = 6</u>
