Given a conditional statement P \implies Q, you have:

  • The original statement is P \implies Q
  • The inverse statement is the negation of both sides: \lnot P \implies \lnot Q
  • The converse statement switches hypothesis and conclusion: Q \implies P
  • The contrapositive statement is switching hypothesis and conclusion, and negating both: \lnot Q \implies \lnot P

So, in your case, you have the inverse statement.

Pls help me this is for my final text and I’m struggling really bad!!!
vodka [1.7K]
I’m not so sure I fully understand the question. But I would say the rate is 1.

I say this because the line on your graph is a y=mx+b equation.

For every unit it moves over on the X axis it moves the same unit on the Y axis.

I hope this helps.

Laney and Maka are tutors. Laney charges $10 for travel expenses plus $32 per hour of tutoring. The dollar amount Maka charges c
dezoksy [38]

Answer: Total amount earned by Laney in 4hour=$138

Total amount earned by Maka in 4hours=$134

Difference =$4

Step-by-step explanation:

Since

Maka charges can be modeled by the equation F=30h+14,

where h =number of hours that Maka tutors

F = the total amount earned. Following same model

With 14 being the charge in dollar for travel expenses.

Laney charging $10 for travel expenses plus $32 per hour of tutoring can also be represented as

F= 32h +10

Such that total amount earned by

Maka in 4hours gives

F=30h+14

F=30x4 +14

F=120+14=$134

In the same vein the total amount earned by Laney in 4hours gives

F=32h+10

F= 32x4+10

F=128+10=$138

The difference in money earned by Laney and Maka = $138-$134= $4
