Answer:

An extraneous solution of the given expression is 3 and 12.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Expression (45-3x)^{\frac{1}{2}}=x-9

To find : An extraneous solution of given expression ?

Solution :

First we solve the given expression algebraically,

(45-3x)^{\frac{1}{2}}=x-9

Squaring both side,

(45-3x)^{\frac{2}{2}}=(x-9)^2

45-3x=x^2-18x+81

x^2-18x+81-45+3x=0

x^2-15x+36=0

Solving quadratic equation,

x^2-3x-12x+36=0

x(x-3)-12(x-3)=0

(x-3)(x-12)=0

x=3 \text{ or } x=12

Therefore, An extraneous solution of the given expression is 3 and 12.

n(A' n B')

Please hurry it’s urgent
Aliun [14]
You’ll need to make an exponential function in order to find your answer.
Let’s try the function f(x) = 870(1.037)^x.
Then, plug in three for x and your output will be the answer. Remember, you’re being asked for the balance, NOT the yield.
The answer is $970.19

A bakery uses 3/10 of a cup of flour in one batch of biscuits. The bakery uses 3/5 of a cup yesterday. how many batches of biscu
jarptica [38.1K]

Answer: The bakery made 3 batches of biscuits.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find how many batches the bakery made  set up a proportional relationship .

so if  \frac{3}{10}   can make 1 batch of biscuit

is asking how many batch of biscuits  can \frac{3}{5}  cup of flour make

so solve this divide 3/5 by 3/10 to find the number of batches

\frac{3}{5} /\frac{3}{10}  = \frac{30}{15 }  = 2 +1
