I think the answer would be because if there is an error in the DNA replication, it would affect one generation of cells. if the error would fall in the transcription or translation, there would only be one cell affected.

Hope this helps! ^^

The process of becoming physiologically adjusted to a high elevation is called _____.
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

C. Acclimatization

Explanation:

I think of "acclimatization" as acclimating to a new environment, also it's clearly derived from acclimating. It's just another way to say adjusting to the environment, and isn't necessarily restricted to high elevations. It could also be temperature, or humidity. I hope this helped!

Sonja [21]

Monosaccharide molecule is produced and stored as energy for future use is Glucose.

Unlike people, plants must produce their own energy through photosynthesis in order to meet their needs for fuel. Plants produce and store starch in their leaves for short-term needs.

A polysaccharide, such as starch, is created when a series of glucose molecules are bonded together to form a longer molecule.

In starch, there are two varieties of polysaccharides:

  • Amylose – a linear chain of glucose
  • Amylopectin – a highly branched chain of glucose

Depending on the plant, starch is made up of between 20-25% amylose and 75-80% amylopectin.
