1. g^-1 ( - 1 ) = 6

2. h^-1 ( x ) = ?
y = 2 x - 9
- 2 x = - y - 9   / : ( -2 )
x = ( y + 9 )/ 2
h^-1 ( x ) = ( x + 9 ) / 2

3. ( h ° h^-1) ( 1 ) = ?
h ( h^-1 ( 1 ) )= h ( (1+9) /2 ) = h ( 5  ) = 2· 5 - 9 = 10 - 9 = 1

Plz helpppp fast plzzzzz Write the sum using summation notation, assuming the suggested pattern continues. -3 + 6 + 15 + 24 + ..
Olin [163]

Answer:

It is the first choice.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a sequence where

the next term is obtained by adding 6.

first term = -9 + 6(0) = -9

second term = -9 + 6(1) = -3

third term = -9 + 6(2) = 3

4th term = -9 + 6(3)  = 9

and 81 = -9 + (6*15).

So the answer is  Sigma (-9 + 6n)  from n= 0 to n = 15.

Samantha works at a nursery, where she pots plants. it takes her 1 1/2 hours to pot 12 plants.
nignag [31]

Answer:

She could plant 9 plants.

Step-by-step explanation:

1 1/2 hours = 90 minutes, so 12 plants per 90 minutes. Which would mean 6 plants per 45 minutes. So in between 45 and 90 minutes (1 hour), and in between 6 and 12 plants (9).

Sorry if you didn't understand, I'm bad at explaining.
