Answer: So the pattern is 3/16, 3/8, 9/16

here you can write 3/8 = 6/16 multiplying numerator and denominator by 2.

Then the sequence is 3/16, 6/16, 9/16....

you can see that is an arithmetic sequence, where in every step you are adding 3/16 to the previous number.

So the next time (the fourth) she will ran (9 +3)/16 = 12/16 mile

the fifth time: (12 + 3)/16 = 15/16 mile

the sixth time : (15 + 3)/16 = 18/16 = 16/16 + 2/16 = (1 + 1/8) miles

So the sixth time she will ran more than one mile.

Given the equation, what is the center and radius of the circle? <br> (X-2) ^2+ (Y+11)^2=100
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

Center: (2, -11)

Radius: 10

Step-by-step explanation:

(x - 2)² + (y + 11)² = 100

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

-------------------------------

x - 2 = 0

  +2   +2

x = 2

------------

y + 11 = 0

   -11    -11

y = -11

------------------------------

r² = 100

r = √100

r = 10

----------------------------

Center: (h, k)

Radius: r

-------------------------------

Center: (2, -11)

Radius: 10

I hope this helps!
