Answer: c) movement in real GDP around its long-term trend.

Explanation: Business fluctuation is defined as the variation or movement that occurs in the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) ,i.e. increment or decrement of GDP .

The increment and decrement occurs in the form of movement of GDP over a long duration. Business fluctuations occurs due to capital availability, supply and demand etc.

Other options are incorrect because product levels and price change does not generate business fluctuations. Overall movement of GDP is depicted from GDP's trend .

Thus , the correct option is option(c).

All of the people of the Middle East want to learn Western ways.

True
False
olasank [31]

This statement is False.

Some people in the Middle East want to learn Western way and others don't. Though most of them are interested in having all the facilities, they are not interested to follow Western ways completely. And this is why in some parts of Middle East heavy resistance against the West can be seen among general population.

What was the primary reason that large numbers of people left Ireland if the 1840s and 1850s
Vitek1552 [10]
The primary reason that large numbers of people left Ireland in the 1840s and 1850s was MASS STARVATION.

Great Famine or Great Hunger was a period in Ireland where mass starvation, diseases, and emigration occurred between 1845 to 1852.

The Great Famine was caused by Phytophthora infestans, a disease that infests in potatoes. Though the potato infestation spread throughout Europe, it greatly affected Ireland, where 1/3 of its population was dependent on the potato crop as their primary source of food.

The loss of their primary source of food led to mass starvation, sickness, and eventual death. Others opted to leave Ireland and seek shelter and food in other countries to survive.
