Where,

  • a = starting amount
  • r = rate
  • t = years

Putting the values,

\ =4800(0.9325)^{11}

\ =4800\times 0.4636

\ =2225.28

Therefore, at this rate the area of the forest after 11 years will be 2225.28 km².
