Answer:

D. Sometimes when a strong wind funnels round and round like a tornado, it picks up fish from the sea.

Explanation:

A waterspout is a tall column of rapidly rotating air and water mist. It usually takes shape over a body of water, such as a lake or even the ocean. It can be categorized into two major types - a tornadic waterspout and a fair weather waterspout.

Tornadic waterspouts, also known as land tornadoes, move from land towards the water and lead to thunderstorms. Fair weather waterspouts, on the other hand, form on the water surface in a funnel-like shape and move upwards towards the clouds.

Hunger Games How are the Games used to maintain control over the
Firdavs [7]

Answer and Explanation:

How are the Games used to maintain control over the  districts?

The Hunger Games are a display of power. The Capitol established the Games after the districts attempted a rebellion. Now, people from each district are forced to compete and fight to death. By doing this, the Capitol makes it clear that it has the power to kill, if it wishes. So much so that people would rather risk having their own kids' names drawn to the deadly Games than fighting for freedom. It is as if they think it is better to lose one or two with a certain frequency than battling and losing thousands of lives at once, not seeing that such a sacrificial ritual will never lead to change.

Conversely, how are the Games used to keep  the Capitol happy and content?

The Games keep the people in the Capitol entertained. While people in the districts barely survive each day, in the Capitol they have too much of everything. Not having to starve, hunt, work, fight to live, they become easily bored. This cruel, barbaric display of violence is, therefore, a lot of fun for them.

Analyze the foot of the following word. blatant
Art [367]
Hey there friend!

So, when this question says "Analyze the foot". Let's stop there, the key point in this little question would be the word "foot".

When finding the "foot" or the point or even the root of something, which in this case the word "Blatant", we would want to find the deep roots in this, the (true) and straight forward meaning of this following word.

(Blatant).

The foot of this word would be: (Bad Behavior).

The proper definition of this word would be unashamed, or even in today's world, being a "savage" would also be a synonym of this word.

I Hope this helps you Daniel!
