In this excerpt from Act II, Scene III, of "Romeo and Juliet", by William Shakespeare, the figurative language is describing <em>A. the dawn</em>. Morning is smiling on the frownig night. Friar Laurence is carrying a basket. It is dawn and he has to fill his basket, before the sun comes up and burns the dew. He is collecting poisonous weeds and medicinal flowers.
