I know someone already put in a correct answer but here’s the one I wrote,

He is incorrect because the probability of pulling a dime out of his pocket is 2/8 but if he wishes to pull a dime again his probability would be 1/7. To find the total probability you would need to times the numbers which then gives you 2/56 but if you simplify you get 1/28 meaning you have a 1 in 28 chance of pulling two dimes in a row.

Answer: No. Choosing two dimes are dependent events. The probability of choosing the first dime is 1/4 and the probability of choosing the second dime is 1/7. The probability that both coins are dimes is (1/4)(1/7) = 1/28.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Payment per hour is $8

commission is 15%

Total number of hours worked for 2 weeks is 73 hours

Total sales=$2095

commission earned for 2 weeks:

15/100×2095

=$314.25

Total amount earned in 73 hours:

How many years will it take for a person in the United States eat 1,120 pounds of turkey (14 pounds)
Liono4ka [1.6K]
If I understand you, a person eats about 14 pounds of turkey a year.  So we will divide all that turkey (1120 pounds) by 14 to find out how many years.

1,120 ÷ 14 = 80   So it will take 80 years.   (Since babies can't eat that much turkey a year it will actually take more than 80 years - or the person can eat more than 14 pounds in some years to make up for their early years when they ate less)  I know it's a math question, but I also like to be realistic about it.  Who measures the amount of turkey they eat yearly anyway?  :-)
