Kate is 3 years old

Explanation:

Kate is x for example, then her father would be

x+32

In five years he would be x+32+5, x+37, but he would also be 5 times older.

Kate will also be x+5.

SO, we know that

x+37=5 · (x+5)

When we simplify, we get

x+37 = 5x+25

Simplify further, you get

12=4x, so

3=x

Kate is 3 years old currently

Equations :

f=k+32

f+5=5(k+5)

_____

k+32+5=5k+25

k+37=5k+25

4k=12

kate age is now 3 years old.

DiKsa [7]
If temperature (T) and amount of gas (n) remain constant, but pressure (P) and volume (V) change, then the ideal gas law: PV = nRT becomes
P1V1 = P2V2 --> (41)(16) = P2 (4)
--> P2 (4) = 656
P2 = 656/4 = 164 kPa

Answer:

<h2>(h + k)(2) = 5</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

(h+k)(x)=h(x)+k(x)\\\\\bold{METHOD\ 1:}\\\\k(x)=x-2,\ h(x)=x^2+1\\\\(k+h)(2)=h(2)+k(2)\\\\\text{Calculate}\ h(2)\ \text{and}\ k(2).\\\text{Put}\ x=2\ \text{to the equations of the functions}\\\\h(2)=2^2+1=4+1=5\\k(2)=2-2=0\\\\\text\\\\\text{Substitute:}\\\\(h+k)(2)=5+0=5

\bold{METHOD\ 2:}\\\\k(x)=x-2,\ h(x)=x^2+1\\\\(h+k)(x)=h(x)+k(x)=(x^2+1)+(x-2)=x^2+x-1\\\\(h+k)(2)-\text{put}\ x=2\\\\(h+k)(2)=2^2+2-1=4+2-1=6-1=5
