You just add 6 and 7 then put the X after it. Since 7 and 6 both have an X after them you can add them because it’s considered combining like terms

\large\boxed{g(x) = 7x + 2\text{ , } f(x) = \sqrt{x}  - 10}

\text{h(x) = f(g(x)), so determine what g(x) was substituted into f(x):}\\\\\text{Given the equation } h(x) = \sqrt{7x +2}- 10:\\\\\text{In the part of the equation with a variable, we see that "7x + 2" is in a square root:}

Which equation is equivalent to
Paul [167]

Answer:

c) 3x - 45 = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{1}{5}x-3=\frac{2}{3}\\\\\frac{1}{5}x-\frac{3*5}{1*5}=\frac{2}{3}\\\\\frac{x-15}{5}=\frac{2}{3}\\

Cross multiply,

3*(x - 15) = 2*5

3*x - 3*15 = 10

3x - 45 = 10
