I do not know the answer choices, but I will tell you what is known for dieting. Diets are ineffective because you aren't actually changing your eating habits. As soon as you lose a certain amount of weight, you go back to eating like you did before. You may lose 5 pounds, but you will most likely gain it back. Also, diets are often a sham and a waste of your time. Many who don't eat enough of what they need may lose weight, but you also lose key nutrition - which results in lethargy and other side effects. Please be more specific for a proper answer, though.

Would it be easier or more difficult for a researcher to establish rapport with an informant they have not met?
const2013 [10]

It would be more difficult for a researcher to establish rapport with an informant they have not met.

Informants are very important in research because they help the researcher to find out things that would have been otherwise difficult to find.

Researchers generally prefer to meet their informants in person because:

  • they can better read non-verbal cues such as hand gestures
  • there is a chance for a better connection with the informant
  • easier to establish credibility

All of these ensure that the researcher is able to establish rapport easier with the informant so meeting in person is better.
