My U. S history teacher assigned me to do a WW1 propaganda poster. I drew a lion representing/symbolizing the enemy and the lion

is stepping on the American flag with weapons pointing to the enemy(Austria-Hungary/ Ottoman Empire) etc.. want to show americas to join the way of your enemy will be bigger than you. Idk if that sounds good. I need to come up with a phrase on the poster. Or should I write destroy the lion before it destroys your loved ones? I don't know? Plz help me.

That phrase works perfectly! Although if you’d prefer a phrase that rhymes, Join the war and fight off shore might work (idk)

Otherwise, this works perfectly with your poster and would help express the symbolism you’ve provided!

Good luck and your poster looks rest so far!

What was Spain’s main goal in the new world
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

Spain colonized the Americas to get gold and silver, boost its economy, and become more powerful.

Explanation:

When the Spanish colonized the Americas, they had several goals in mind when they established colonies in the Americas. There was one goal that had to do with economics. In hopes of finding gold and silver, the Spanish were looking for a source of resources to boost their empire's growth. Spanish explorers found a great deal of gold in the Americas. It is also thought that Spain could expand its empire by establishing colonies to increase its trade. There would also be a positive effect on the Spanish economy as a result of this.

Hope this helps :)
