Which device does the poet use by ending every second and fourth line with similar-sounding words?
ira [324]
The one device that is most commonly associated with poetry by the general public is the Rhyme Scheme or simply, Rhyme. It uses words with different beginning sounds but whose endings sound alike, including the final vowel sound and everything following it. It is applied in an alternating method which in a stanza, follows mostly this format: a-b-a-b where the first and third line rhyme, while the second and fourth line rhyme.

From the story “A Modern Cinderella,” compare and contrast the Prince and the girl he danced with.
Mrac [35]

The best answer for this question would be:

A.      They both liked to dance, but only the Prince was royalty.

Just like in the old Cinderella, the prince was the only one who had privileged to be a royalty in the story. Which is a turning point for the cinderella to step in and be part of that life later on in the story.
