A short term therapy from psychological therapist. He could get some advises from the therapist that would help him change the way he thinks and maybe help him also to change the way he think, instead of thinking the negative things, he would think about the positive things.

Answer:

There are two options of therapy that could be applied to a case like Kaleem´s: IPT (Interpersonal Psychotherapy), and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). However, the best suited for the symptoms and situations being displayed by Kaleem, would be CBT. CBT is a psychosocial therapy that seeks to utilize learning mechanisms on coping skills and information processing to help a person with mood disorders, behavioral disorders and anxiety disorders, handle their situation. It is also a very useful therapy because it is a more problem-focused and solution-oriented treatment, in comparisson to psychotherapy.
