Answer: 65 J

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its motion.

K.E.=\frac{1}{2}m\times v^2

K.E= Kinetic energy = ?

m= mass of duck = 0.90 kg

v= velocity of duck= 12ms^{-1}

Putting in the values we get

K.E=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.90kg\times (12ms^{-1})^2

K.E=65kgm^2s^{-2}=65Joules

(1kgm^2s^{-2}=1Joule)

Thus kinetic energy of the duck is 65 Joules.

What best explains why the box’s final kinetic energy is less than its initial potential energy
ziro4ka [17]
Some potential energy was converted into thermal energy due to friction. The acceleration due to gravity became smaller as the box slid down the ramp.

If the temperature we're to go down how would that effect the solubility of each solute
vova2212 [387]

well when there is more kinetic energy in a solution the higher its temperature is going to be so the more the molecules are able to be help together, the lower the temperature the more difficult it would be to break the molecule apart in order to bond with it.
