Answer: 65 J

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its motion.

K.E.=\frac{1}{2}m\times v^2

K.E= Kinetic energy = ?

m= mass of duck = 0.90 kg

v= velocity of duck= 12ms^{-1}

Putting in the values we get

K.E=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.90kg\times (12ms^{-1})^2

K.E=65kgm^2s^{-2}=65Joules

(1kgm^2s^{-2}=1Joule)

Thus kinetic energy of the duck is 65 Joules.

What is the basic difference between series and parallel circuits?
strojnjashka [21]
In a series circuit, the current through each of the components is the same, and the voltage across the circuit is the sum of the voltages across each component. In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each of the components is the same, and the total current is the sum of the currents through each component.

Andreas93 [3]

Universal pH paper turns red if it is very strongly acidic, turns orange if it is strongly acidic, turns yellow if it is weakly acidic, green if it is weakly alkali and blue if it is strongly alkali.

Solution A will turn orange as it is strongly acidic

Solution B will turn blue as it is strongly alkali

Solution C will turn yellowish green as it is neutral

The class measured the density of a copper block to be 8.6 +/-0.2 g/cm3 at the 95% confidence interval with a standard deviation
mezya [45]

Answer: kindly check explanation

Explanation:

Given the following :

Measured density of copper block:

8.6+/-0.2 g/cm3

True density = 8.96g/cm3

Standard deviation = 0.4g/cm

a. What is the high and low number of the confidence interval range?

High : 8.6 + 0.2 g/cm3 = 8.8g/cm³

Low : 8.6 - 0.2 g/cm3 = 8.4g/cm³

Does the true value fall within the confidence interval? NO

Actual density = 8.96g/cm³ doses not lie in between (8.4 - 8.8)g/cm³

B.) High and low of the standard deviation range?

High = 8.6 + 0.4 = 9.0g/cm³

Low = 8.6 - 0.4 = 8.2g/cm³

Value falls within range of the true density value of copper block.

8.96g/cm³ falls in-between (8.2-9.0)g/cm³
