Answer: B) Reappraisal

Explanation: Reappraisal is the method of evaluating something again in the same or different manner. The repetition in appraisal of something is done to extract more clear result and remove negative factors from the judgement.

In the mentioned case, Gemma is not happy with the behavior shown by Allie at first as she lack the passion in meeting .Based on this situation she evaluates Allie with some negative factors , but the factors are removed when she knows the reason behind Allie's behavior. Thus she re-evaluated her by eliminating the incorrect assumptions and became pleased.

Other options are incorrect because rumination is focusing on the source of stress. Emotional labor is control the feeling to complete the job work.Fallacy of approval is the faulty believe of getting approved or permitted.

Thus , the correct option is option(B).

What is one specific way that living in a company town prevented workers from forming organized labor unions?
Anna007 [38]
In the early 1900's , a company often provided a company town, a place where the worker could live in the near working location ( usually like a mining location)

The workers usually were lured by the promise of high wage.

But here's the thing, in company town, a source of living usually can only obtained in a company store, and the cost is really high.

So instead of getting a high wage, the workers trapped in huge debt to the company, creating some sort of slavery that they have to work to pay off their debt to the company

Techincally, the company could easily bring those workers to the court ( even though is very cruel, they obtain the debt in a 'legal' way), so basically workers cant do a thing

Montano1993 [528]
feudalism an inevitable stage in the development of capitalism. Commercial capitalism existed in various countries in the ancient world without a prior stage resembling the feudalism of the Middle Ages in Europe. Industrial capitalism came into existence in the United States, in Canada, and in Australia without a prior stage of feudalism. By a rather heroic oversimplification, the precapitalistic era in Japan might be termed feudalism.
