Answer:

D. Newton's first law is sometimes called the relative inertia law.

Explanation:

Newton's first law of motion states that an object at rest will stay at rest and that in motion will stay in motion with same speed and in the same direction unless an unbalanced force acts on it. It is also called the law inertia. Mass and inertia play a role in this law because mass is a quantity that mainly depends on inertia in that a body with more inertial will exhibit more mass.

Assuming perfect optics, if the smallest feature you can resolve when observing around 660 nm is of angular size 0.04 arcsec, wh
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

The value is \theta _2 =  0.08 \ arcsec

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The first wavelength is  \lambda_1 =  660 \ nm  = 660 *10^{-9 }

   The  first angular size is  \theta_1 = 0.04 \ arcsec

    The second wavelength is  \lambda _2 =  1320 \  nm  =  1320 *10^{-9 } \  m

Generally according to  Rayleigh Criterion we have that

          \theta=  1.22 *  \frac{\lambda }{D}

given every other thing remains constant we have that

         \theta =  k *  \lambda

Here k  represented constant so

         k  =  \frac{\theta }{\lambda}

=>      \frac{\theta_1}{ \lambda_1}  =  \frac{\theta_2}{ \lambda_2}

=>      \frac{\theta_1}{ \theta_2}  =  \frac{\lambda_1}{ \lambda_2}

So

        \frac{ 0.04}{ \theta_2}  =0.5

=>     \theta _2 =  0.08 \ arcsec

What are weather balloons?
victus00 [196]

Answer:

3 Objects that carry instruments into the stratosphere to measure atmospheric conditions

Explanation:

Weather balloons are objects that carries instruments into the stratosphere to measure atmospheric conditions.

They are very important weather measuring device that helps meteorologists in their fore casts.

These balloons are specially designed for high altitudes. They carry very sensitive devices that are very useful in collecting information about temperature, precipitation, pressure e.t.c

You walk into the living room and find your family watching a nature documentary on PBS. Which lens does this network fall under
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

Natural Sciences

Explanation:

This network would fall under the lens of Natural Sciences. This is based on what the family is currently watching. Nature documentaries focus on our Planet as well as all the wildlife in it. In these documentaries, they talk about how and why certain things in nature occur. All of this would be considered educational information on the subjects of Earth Science and Biology which are main subcategories under the lens of Natural Sciences.

Which combination of vectors would form the resultant vector 6.5 m 18° N of E when added together?
Vaselesa [24]

r = (x, y) + (6.5*cos(18°)-x, 6.5*sin(18°)-1)

v1= (x, y), v2=(6.5*cos18°-1, 6.5*sin18°-1)

You can choose any real numbers for x and y. See attached for a little more depth.
