The answer is going to be 7

to make 4 and 2/3 a fraction you multiply 4 times 3, and then add two, so it will com in as 14/3

then you take the multiplicative inverse of that fraction which would make is 3/14, and then you multiply it by 2/3

3*2=6

14*3=42

so it comes out as 6/42, then you take the multiplicative inverse of that, and it come in at 42/6, divide 6 into 42 and you get seven.

hope this helps

Answer:

Answer is 1 1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

so what you do is 4 2 over 3 equals fraction numerator 4 space x space 3 space plus space 2 over denominator 3 end fraction equals 14 over 3

fraction numerator 14 space x space 3 over denominator 3 space x 3 space end fraction equals 42 over 9

fraction numerator 2 space x space 3 over denominator 3 space x space 3 end fraction equals 6 over 9

fraction numerator 42 space divided by space 6 over denominator 3 end fraction equals 7 over 3 equals 1 space 1 third

A surveyor found the angle of elevation from the ground to the top of the building at two locations 20 feet apart as shown below
Serga [27]

Applying the sine ratio and law of sines, the correct measurements are:

B. m∠B = 15°

E. h ≈ 31.28 ft.

What is the Sine Ratio?

Sine ratio that can be used to determine the side length of a right triangle is, sin ∅ = opposite side/hypotenuse.

Find c using the law of sines:

C = 33°

A = 180 - 48 = 132 [linear pair]

B = 180 - 33 - 132 = 15° [triangle sum theorem]

b = 20 ft

c = ?

Using the law of sines, b/sin B = c/sin C, we have:

20/sin 15 = c/sin 33

(c)(sin 15) = (20)(sin 33)

c = (20 × sin 33)/sin 15

c ≈ 42.09

Use the sine ratio to find h:

∅ = 48°

Hypotenuse = c = 42.09

Opposite = h = ?

sin 48 = h/42.09

h = (sin 48)(42.09)

h ≈ 31.28

The correct measurements are:

B. m∠B = 15°

E. h ≈ 31.28 ft

kvv77 [185]

Answer: 30 goldfish

Step-by-step explanation: Bruce has 18 goldfish. If Isabelle has 5 times as many goldfish as Bruce she will have 18*5=90 goldfish. If Arlene has 1/3 times as many goldfish as Isabelle she will have 90/3=30 goldfish.

Which expression gives the distance between the points (5, 1) and (9, -6)?
Vesna [10]
So the distance formula: d = rad (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2
it doesn't matter what order you do, you just have to make sure it's a y coordinate for y and an x coordinate for x.
rad (9-5)^2 + ((-6)-1)^2
rad 4^2 + (-7)^2
rad 16 + 49
rad 65
