Which statement is true for the tables?
Flauer [41]

Answer:

Table A represents a function, but Table B does not represent a function.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to select the correct option among the given 4 options after judging the given two tables attached to this question.

The first table shows that for each x values there is only one y value. Therefore, this is a function.

But in the second table shows that for each x value there are multiple y values since we are getting y = 1 and 2 for x = 5.

Hence, table B is not a function. it is just a relation. (Answer)

PLEASE help me with factorials and exponents. my work is in blue, how are they are all equal? I don't understand how the answer
Fynjy0 [20]
By choosing n = 2 you were able to show that they were the "equal to" part of the inequality.
2! = 1 × 2 = 2

Try using n = 3
(n!)^{(n!)} =(3!)^{(3!)}=6^{6}=46656
(n!)^{n}=(3!)^{3}=6^{3}=216
n^{n}=3^{3}=27

What number are you thinking of?
KatRina [158]

Try it! Suppose the number I'm thinking of is 49.

The product of 49 and 7 is 343; we subtract 3 from that, obtaining 340.

Divide this 340 by 13: 340/13.

Double this quotient: 680/13

680 + 390

Add 30 to this result: 680/13 + 30 = ------------------ = 1070/13

13

Sadly, this is not 50, as we'd hoped.

Why don't you try doing this yourself? Would you do anything differently from the way I did it?
