In math, IS represents =    OF represents multiply

1.   So for the first problem is saying 24% * 80 24% is the same as .24 so .24*80=19.2

2. For this one the problem is saying 15=30%*x  So for this we need to find x. So we divide both sides by .3 and get x = 50

3. You do the same thing as in 2. Im not gonna do all ur homework so you can do this one.

Hope that helps :)<span />

Answer:

<em>angle ABD =</em><u><em>55 degree</em></u>

<em>angle BCD= </em><u><em>125 degree</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

angle ABD and angle DBC are supplementary angles.

Hence, angle ABD +angle DBC = 180 --equation 1

angle ABD = (2x+15) ---equation 2

angle BCD = (4x+45) ------equation 3

ABD+DBC=180

(2x+15) + ( 4x+45 ) = 180

2x+4x+15+45=180

6x+60=180

6x=180-60

6x=120

x=120/6=20

angle ABD= 2x+15= 2(20) +15

                              =40+15= 55 degree

angle BCD= 4x+45 = 4(20) +45

                                = 80+45= 125 degree

Hence, angle ABD =55 degree

            angle BCD= 125 degree

<em>Hope this helps.</em>

The distance between the cities Atlanta and Indianapolis is 540 miles. A motorcycle's speed is 48 mph. For a car it takes 2.25 h
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

It will take them 5 hours to meet if they start moving towards eachother simultaneusly.

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance, s = 540 miles

Motocycle's speed, v = 48 mph

Time for motorcycle to cover 48 miles, t = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

=  \frac{540}{48} = 11.25 h

For a car it takes 2.25 hours less than 11.25 for motorcycle:

Time for car than becomes: 11.25 - 2.25  = 9 h

Speed for car would be v(c) = \frac{Distance}{Time}

= \frac{540}{9} = 60 mph

<em>For finding when they will meet, we will need relative speed: </em>

Since they are moving towards each other the relative speed is the sum of speed of car and the speed of motorcycle

Relative Speed = 48 + 60 = 108 mph

Distance = 540 miles

Time =  \frac{Distance}{Speed}

        =  \frac{540}{108}

       = 5 hours
