2 triangles of 4x3/2 each. So 12.

One 3x20 rect = 60

One 4x20 rect = 80

One 5x20 rect = 100.

So total <u>252</u>

HeLp with math pls!!!!
natulia [17]
Hi,

Work:

Equation;

( {2}^{4} )^{2}  =  {2}^{n}

Write an expression in the exponential form with a base of 2.

{2}^{8}  =  {2}^{n}

Since bases are the same, set the exponents equal.

8 = n

Switch the sides (RESULT)

n = 8

Hope this helps.

Consider the following simplified algebraic expression. Which could be the original expression?
dem82 [27]

You have to simplify each equation. You can do that by adding similar values to each other:

(the first equation)

8x²y + 7x² - 5y² + 3x - 2 + 2x²y - x² -  2y² + 3x - 4

To make it easier, arrange the values around so that similar ones are beside each other:

8x²y + 2x²y + 7x² - x² - 5y² - 2y² + 3x + 3x - 2 - 4

then add the similar values together:

8x²y + 2x²y = 10x²y

7x² - x² = 6x²

- 5y² - 2y² = -7y²

3x + 3x = 6x

(- 2)+ (- 4) = -6

and if you put them together:

10x²y + 6x² - 7y² + 6x - 6

This isn't the answer to the equation, because it's different. So repeat the process with all the other equations until you find one that is identical to the simplified version.

The answer is the second one: 8x²y + 7x² - 5y² + 3x - 2 + 2x²y - x² -  2y² - 3x - 4

Assume that the function call operator() is overloaded for data type String in the usual sense of selecting a substring from a l
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

"EF"

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

String1 = "ABCDEFGHI"

Substring : String1(4,2)

To solve this, one must understand the following

1. The function call operator () is used to overload objects of class type.

2. A copy constructor must receive its argument by reference to prevent an otherwise infinite recursion.

3. overload ( ), doesn't mean that one is not creating a new way to call a function; instead, it is a way to create an operator function that can be passed an arbitrary number of parameters

Having pointed out this,

The string to overload goes thus

String1 = "ABCDEFGHI"

The parameters goes thus

String1(4,2)

To represent this properly, we have

("ABCDEFGHI",4,2)

Which means to return 2 strings starting from the 4th index character.

It should be noted that index starts at 0.

So, the character at the 4th index is "E"

Then, we count 2 characters starting from E (i.e. E, inclusive)

This gives

"EF"

So, the returned string is "EF"

You use 4 gallons of water on 14 plants in your garden. At this rate, how much water will it take to water 35 plants?
Sidana [21]
14 plants divided by 4 gallons equals 3.5 plants per every 1 gallon. 35 divided by 3.5 equals 10 gallons.
