Answer: The turtle is a beautiful part of nature.

Explanation: In this excerpt from the poem " The Turtle" by Mary Oliver the writer wants to emphasize on the beauty of nature by mentioning the hill, the sand and the turtle's skin. When reading these lines you have a positive feeling, something that does not match with the intentions of "strange appearance" (option 1) or "too bright"(option 3). Finally, the writer does not use any words related to movement that is why I think that option 2 is also incorrect.

Which parts of speech can the word style be used as? Check all that apply. Adjective adverb noun verb pronoun
Fantom [35]

noun and verb

Style is a thing when used as a noun. For example: The house was decorated in the style of Egyptian queens. His style was so outdated, he was wearing his grandfather's clothes. Many times style can be found as an object of a preposition "in style", "out of style" - these are always nouns.

Style can also be something you do, an action verb. The hairdresser styled her hair around the tiara.

According to the dictionary, style can only be used as a noun or a verb. This is true if it is by itself. But we should also note here that it can be used as a compound adjective as well. For example: The house had a cowboy-style decor that gave it a rustic Western feel. "Cowboy-style" is a compound adjective describing the type of decor.
