Explanation: In this excerpt from the poem " The Turtle" by Mary Oliver the writer wants to emphasize on the beauty of nature by mentioning the hill, the sand and the turtle's skin. When reading these lines you have a positive feeling, something that does not match with the intentions of "strange appearance" (option 1) or "too bright"(option 3). Finally, the writer does not use any words related to movement that is why I think that option 2 is also incorrect.
