Answer:

A. Jack cannot bring in the evidence of the oral agreement because of the Parol Evidence Rule.

Explanation:

The Parol Evidence rule is a rule in the Anglo-American common law that governs or determines the types or kinds of evidence that parties to a contract dispute can introduce when trying to determine the specific terms of a contract.

The rule also prevents introduction of further evidences by a party after a final written document or agreement has been reached. Things such as the content of oral discussions from earlier in the negotiation process, as evidence of a different intent as to the terms of the contract. The rule states that "extrinsic evidence is inadmissible to vary a written contract". The term " patrol" refers to "word of mouth" hence it is referred to oral pleadings in a court case.

Therefore from the question, Jack cannot bring in evidence of oral agreement into the court for evaluation because of Patrol Evidence Rule.

Giving the following information:

Month Total Maintenance Costs Total Machine Hours

January $2,590 330

February 2,890 380

March 3,490 530

April 4,390 660

To calculate the variable cost using the high-low method, we need to use the following formula:

Variable cost per unit= (Highest activity cost - Lowest activity cost)/ (Highest activity units - Lowest activity units)

Variable cost per unit= (4,790 - 2,590) / (730 - 330)= 2200/400= $5.5 per unit

The Internet can be accessed through a(n) (1 point)
ISP.
DSL.
router.
WWW.
Verdich [7]
ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. It's a service that allows you to connect/acess to the internet.

DSL is a type of internet provider. It includes broadband internet, but can be unavailable in a few locations. It also does not require dialing up nor requires phone services. If you were to choose DSL, you would need a DSL modem.

A router is a device that allows you to connect to multiple computers and devices to just one internet connection. A router is not necessary for connecting to the internet.

WWW stands for World Wide Web. WWW is much different from the term 'Internet'. The World Wide Web is a network that is simulated, that is connected by links. The WWW is just apart of the internet.

iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

The $2,700 is the amount which recognized as net accounts receivable on the balance sheet as of November 30

Explanation:

The computation of net accounts receivable is shown below:

= Selling price of softball equipment - defective merchandise amount

= $3,000 - $300

= $2,700

The $1,800 is not considered in the computation part because the Wilton company received an order from Douglas high school which is irrelevant for Paola middle school. Neither the discount terms are considered because the company did not receive the amount.
