Sure.  I'm not sure if I like the computer aided instruction.

\dfrac{\tan A}{\sec A} = \dfrac{ \sin A / \cos A }{1 / \cos A} = \dfrac{\sin A \cos A}{\cos A} = \sin A

so in the first block they want sin A and in the second block sin A cos A

Show

\sec \theta \cot \theta \sin \theta =1

Proof,

\sec \theta \cot \theta \sin \theta =\dfrac{1}{\cos \theta} \cdot \dfrac{\cos \theta}{\sin \theta} \cdot \sin \theta = 1

Looks like the box is cos θ

The volume of a rectangular prism whose dimensions are binomials with integer coefficients is modeled by the function V(x) = x^3
Levart [38]

Answer:

The missing dimension of the prism is (x-4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to find the missing dimensions of the prism

To get the volume, we are to multiply three dimensions since we are talking about volume

Mathematically, to find the third dimension, we need to divide the original polynomial by the product of the two other dimensions

The product of the two other dimensions is;

(x-1)(x-9) = x^2-9x-x + 9

= x^2-10x+ 9

So we divide;

(x^3-14x^2+49x-36)/(x^2-10x+ 9)

We can use long division to get this

using long division, the answer here is x-4

Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because the first point in the parenthesis is x and the second is y. If we know this, we can substitute -5 in for x and -6 in for y to get that -15 - (-12) > -4. When you subtract by a negative number, it is the same as adding by that number, so -15 - (-12) = -15 + 12, so we get that -3 > -4. This is true because when you have negative numbers, the lesser negative number is the greater one (Ex. -5 > -6).

What is the area of this figure???
pshichka [43]

Answer:

24 mm squared

Step-by-step explanation:

3 x 4 x 1/2 = area of the triangle

4 x 3 = area of the rectangular top left

1 x 6 = area of the bottom rectangle

3 x 4 = 12 x 1/2 = 6

4 x 3 = 12

6 x 1 = 6

6 + 12 + 6 =24
