Maria wanted to learn more about the birds that visit her backyard. She installed several bird feeders and offered a variety of

bird seed mixes in order to attract a mix of species. For a month, she observed the bird feeders three times a day for an hour each day and counted the types of birds that she saw. Then, she made a pie chart to represent her findings. What is the most likely reason that she chose a pie chart?

The likely reason for her to choose a pie chart is that pie charts are generally used to represent proportions to a whole. In this scenario the different bird types were each proportions to the total of birds which is the whole.

I hope this helped!

ocal and distant brain control in melanoma and nsclc brain metastases with concurrent radiosurgery and immune checkpoint inhibit
BartSMP [9]

Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) are increasingly used to treat brain metastases, however there is a paucity of prospective data on the effectiveness of these treatments in terms of cancer control.

Data from patients treated with SRS for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and melanoma brain metastases at a single facility from May 2008 to January 2017 were retrospectively examined. The impact of concurrent ICI within 30, 60, or 90 days of ICI administration on local control and remote in-brain control is examined using a parametric proportional hazard model. The regression model takes into account other patient and lesion characteristics as covariates and makes adjustments.

By comparing the molecular structure of catechol and hydroquinone, determine what actually influences the specificity of catecho
kodGreya [7K]
Attached is an image of a catechol and a hydroquinone.
The specifity of the catechol oxidase is given by the spatial position of the OH groups. Most of the enzymes have an active site that's specific to spatial conformities of the substrate. If the substrate is not in such spatial conformation it may not be recognised be the enzyme.
