It is true that substance use is initially used in order to
gain confidence, medicate fears, and fit into social groups. Nowadays, the usage
of different substances is being misunderstood by most of the people. They are
using it as a part of their daily routine, which may lead to abusing the
substances. We must put it in mind that all drugs are poison; it is the dosage
that made the difference of the several effects of the drug. It is given that
all of the recreational drugs are bad for our health; the problem is the
misconception of the people that are depending on those drugs. In order to avoid
the side effects of the drugs, the first step is to avoid the temptation of
using any substance, because you could gain self-esteem and fit into the set of
norms without you trying it. It is up to your own view of life.
a is what I think I’m sorry if it’s wrong but that’s what I got :)

A. Spain controlled more of North and South America than the other

countries.
Explanation:
During this time, most of Latin America was colonized by Spain. France and Portugal also had some colonization in the regions, but it was mostly Spain. Spain had many goals by conquering the Americas, they wanted to fix their economy, by the easy trade routes that were in the Americas, and sell the silver and gold that were then abundant. They used many slaves to achieve this, both Natives and African Americans. Spain also wanted to spread Christianity throughout the Americas, as they were very religious people. This is also known as "gold, god, and glory."
Mughals succeeded in India because Indians had a vast mixture of the religious cultures and Mughals adopted some Hindu traditions in their culture and empire, as it was difficult to convert all Indian population into Islam, because of the great distance of the Mecca and Medina, from India. Mughals created a sub-culture by infusing various Hindu practices. They also improved the religious tolerance among people, and thus, succeeded in ruling India.
