In the story “Story of An Hour,” the story revolved around Mrs. Mallard’s agony, grief and happiness all at once.

Mrs. Mallard had shown happiness and loss. She had been happy that she was glad that her husband is no longer alive. She was finally from her unhappy marriage, but she also felt loss because even if she doesn’t love him that much she had lived with him and somehow accepted him in her life.

Mrs. Mallard had been a perfect example of how Human Nature works. She smiled, cried, lived and died. She experiences a variety of emotions in her predicament.

-Patricians: "We will send Agrippa Lanatus! You guys seem to like him the most out of all our councils!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, we would like that! We shall come to a compromise with him!"

Act 2

-Agrippa Lanatus: "Why, hello! The Patricians have sent for me."

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, we are aware. We are to discuss a change in political power for us!"

-Agrippa Lanatus: "So, what would you like to see a change in? More protection?"

-Plebian Leaders: "We want to be seen, and to be heard! Our people would like to partake in the views of the Senate!", all of the leaders mumble in agreement.  

-Agrippa Lanatus: "I completely hear you out on that- we would love fresh pairs of eyes!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, yes, and we would like our own body in council! About that protection you mentioned earlier, we do need protection- if someone were to attack us, we should have the right to defend ourselves without fear of punishment!"

-Agrippa Lanatus: "I-I- I am not entirely sure about that, but we will put it into consideration!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Ah, what do you mean you are not entirely sure?! WE NEED PROTECTION, their voices booming again."

-Agrippa Lanatus: "As I said, we will consider it."

-Plebian Leaders: "It best happen or else we will most certainly leave."

-Agrippa Lanatus: "Fine, we guarantee you the right to protect thyselves!"

-Plebian leaders: "Great! We shall stay, nothing further."
