Answer:

Setting: Sacred Mountain

Act 1

-Plebian Leaders: "Thy shall give us more power in the political power or we shall leave your sacred city!"

-Patricians: "Please wait! We are willing to negotiate, for we need your people as much as you need us!"

-Plebian Leaders: "How so?", their voices boomed.

-Patricians: "We will send Agrippa Lanatus! You guys seem to like him the most out of all our councils!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, we would like that! We shall come to a compromise with him!"

Act 2

-Agrippa Lanatus: "Why, hello! The Patricians have sent for me."

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, we are aware. We are to discuss a change in political power for us!"

-Agrippa Lanatus: "So, what would you like to see a change in? More protection?"

-Plebian Leaders: "We want to be seen, and to be heard! Our people would like to partake in the views of the Senate!", all of the leaders mumble in agreement.

-Agrippa Lanatus: "I completely hear you out on that- we would love fresh pairs of eyes!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Yes, yes, and we would like our own body in council! About that protection you mentioned earlier, we do need protection- if someone were to attack us, we should have the right to defend ourselves without fear of punishment!"

-Agrippa Lanatus: "I-I- I am not entirely sure about that, but we will put it into consideration!"

-Plebian Leaders: "Ah, what do you mean you are not entirely sure?! WE NEED PROTECTION, their voices booming again."

-Agrippa Lanatus: "As I said, we will consider it."

-Plebian Leaders: "It best happen or else we will most certainly leave."

-Agrippa Lanatus: "Fine, we guarantee you the right to protect thyselves!"

-Plebian leaders: "Great! We shall stay, nothing further."

King notes in lines 69-70 that civil rights activists are sometimes asked when will you be satisfied what does he say will satis
charle [14.2K]

Answer: The answer is:

Justice and righteousness

Explanation:

As part of his great speech he said:

“There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, ‘When will you be satisfied?’ We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro’s basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

Determine the class of the italicized pronoun.
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

Demonstrative

Explanation:

<em>Those </em>is a word for a demonstrative pronoun.

Demonstrative pronouns are those that are identifying and pointing out something. They can point out a person, a place, a moment, and can be singular or plural.

However,<u> in this specific sentence, there is no pronoun, but those is used as a demonstrative adjective. </u>

The words for demonstrative adjectives and pronouns are the same (<em>this, these, that, those</em>), but the difference is that the pronouns stand-alone, <u>adjectives stand with the noun and modify it.</u> The only difference is in the structure of the sentence.

<em>Those </em>stands with the word <em>scouts </em>and modifies it,  showing us which scouts do we talk about. <u>That is how we know it is the case of the adjective and not the pronoun. </u>
