"keep-change-flip" is a strategy used to dividing fractions.

always change the mix fraction to a improper fraction and you slove.

I'll do the first one and the rest is basically done the same way.

\frac{3}{4} \div 2 \frac{5}{8}   =  \frac{3}{4}  \times  \frac{21}{4}  =  \frac{3}{4} \times  \frac{4}{21} =  \frac{1}{7}
for the last fraction equation I cross multiply the 4 divided into 4 gives you 1 and the 3 divided into 21 gives you 7.

Find the MAD for this set of data.
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

Hence MAD=0.8

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>MAD-</u>

MAD is also known as Mean Absolute Deviation.

We find MAD by the following steps:

  • Firstly we find the mean of the data
  • Then we subtract each entry from the mean to obtain the deviation
  • Then find the absolute value of the deviation which is also known as absolute deviation.
  • Finally we find the mean of the absolute deviation.

Now we are given a table of the absolute deviation we just need to calculate the mean of the absolute deviation.

The absolute deviation is given as:

1    3    1    0    0    1    0    0    1    1

The mean of this is calculated as:

\dfrac{1+3+1+0+0+1+0+0+1+1}{10}=\dfrac{8}{10}=0.8

Hence, MAD=0.8

Help with this question, ASAP!!
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

The answer to your question is the third option

Step-by-step explanation:

a)               0.023x³ + 0.4x² - 2.1x + 8.3

                 0.023(2)³ + 0.4(2)² - 2.1(2) + 8.3

                 0.023(8) + 0.4(4) - 2.1(2) + 8.3

                 0.184 + 1.6 - 4.2 + 8.3

                 10.084 - 4.2

                 5.884

b)              0.023(4)³ + 0.4(4)² - 2.1(4) + 8.3

                 0.023(64) + 0.4(16) - 8.4 + 8.3

                 1.472 + 6.4 - 8.4 + 8.3

                 16.172 - 8.4

                7.772
