Plant and animal cells both undergo mitotic cell divisions. Their main difference is how they form the daughter cells during cytokinesis. During that stage, animal cells form furrow or cleavage that gives way to formation of daughter cells. Due to the existence of the rigid cell wall, plant cells don’t form furrows. Instead, they from cell plate at the center of the dividing cells separating the two forming components. During telophase, plant cells phragmoplast forms in the center of the cell.

Animal cells have centrioles that support the organization of mitotic spindle and completion of cytokinesis. Plant cells don't have centrioles.

Lastly, animal cells divide everywhere and all the time while plant cells divide in a specialized region called the meristems. #answerwithquality #BAL

How many times and during which phase of meiosis do the chromosome replicate?
Travka [436]

Interphase is divided into three phases, G1 (first gap), S (synthesis), and G 2 (second gap). During all three phases, the cell grows by producing proteins and cytoplasmic organelles. However, chromosomes are replicated only during the S phase. It is the preparatory phase for the cell before cell division.

Organic compounds ALL contain the element carbon. Which organic compound, used for stored chemical energy, contains
skad [1K]

Answer:

The correct option is B. Lipids

Explanation:

Lipids can be described as molecules which dissolve in non-polar solvents and cannot dissolve in water. The biological function of a lipid molecule is to store energy as well as to structure the shape of cell membranes. Lipids are also used in a cell for signalling.

Lipids are made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Some lipids might have phosphorus in them like the phospholipids which make up the cell membrane.

Help

someone that knows it
slamgirl [31]

Answer:

According to the image, the approximate QT interval is 0.4 seconds.

Explanation:

The QT interval is the space between the beginning of the QRS complex and the end of the T wave, which represents from the beginning of depolarization to ventricular repolarization.

Considering that the extandardized measurements of an EKG, where the paper circulates at a speed of 25 mm/s, 1 mm horizontal —measuring time— has an equivalence of 0.04 s.

In the image, there is 10 mm between the beginning of the QRS and the end of the T wave, so:

    0.04 seconds X 10 mm = 0.4 seconds.

Then, the estimated QT interval is 0.4 seconds.
